I finally got around to uploading some 650 images I'd had sitting on my hard drive. & no, they aren't all Dawn, so everyone can get off by damn back about it. M'k?

Comic Candy experienced some down time over the weekend due to high amounts of visitor traffic destabilizing our server. I've had everything moved onto a dedicated server with more resources and higher limits, so we're good to go again.
Now I just need more people to start uploading images!

I have made the image gallery the front page of the site. I never update the news section anymore, I just don't have time. So, now the first thing you see when visiting will be all the comic book image goodness.
40,000 images and counting!

I have decided to change the look of the site a bit. I got sick of the black/red/orange combo. I also decided to remove the banner ads (with the exception of banner ads for some of MY other websites - web design & soap making). The ads were a giant pain in my ass & they weren't even putting a dent in the monthly cost I have to pay to host this website.
It'd be great to hear what you think of the new look, but I know none of you lazy fan boys or girls will bother to leave me a comment.

DEADPOOL, WOLVERINE SEQUEL COMFIRMED

It has been confirmed that there will be a Deadpool stand alone movie, as well as a sequel flick to the Wolverine: Origins movie (in theaters now) that will (reportedly) focus on Logan's time in Japan.

Ok, I know how you all love to leave me comments.... (note the not so subtle sarcasm there), but I need you to leave them now. I need to know if the ads that run on this page do anything weird when you visit Comic Candy.
I need to know if:
1) you see pop-ups (you shouldn't)
2) if your browser gets hijacked to another page about some triv.....something game
3) you get any warnings from your anti-virus software
3) anything else weird happens
Its nice to make a little bit off the site's advertising that I can put towards the cost of hosting, but I have to keep in mind income generated vs pain in the butt factor. So I just won't run ads if the ads I use are going to do weird things and mess up the site for all my visitors. So I need to know how often the ads get in your way when you visit, and if they have any impact on your desire to visit in the future.
Ok? Please? I know people visit this site, I see you in my stats. So while you're here just leave me some helpful comments about this....

Evan Spiliotopoulos will write the Wanted 2 movie. He has written such screen gems as Disney's 'Pooh's Heffalump Movie' and 'Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie'.
& that's all I can stand to type without vomiting.
